Carnauba is the hardest natural wax available, harvested from palm trees in Brazil. The wax is melted down and blended with Meguiar’s formulations to enhance durability and protection against the environment. Meguiar’s uses only #1 yellow Carnauba wax, the most premium and highest quality grade. Carnauba waxes typically give a ‘warm glow’ to paints.

It is a misnomer to believe that a wax product containing a very high percentage (or pure) Carnauba content is good. Pure Carnauba wax is hard and unworkable. A good quality wax will always contain a blend of other ingredients.
