PlastX is specially formulated to remove scratches in clear plastics without altering optical clarity through the plastic. These micro-abrasive particles are unique suited to clear plastics and not ideally suited for painted plastics where better results might be obtained by using either Ultimate Compound or Ultimate Polish to polish clear plastics without altering optical clarity. These micro abrasives could potentially mar or damage the surface of glossy painted plastics. Note that PlastX will remove anti-glare coatings that might be present on some plastic surfaces such as infotainment and sat nav screens and modern digital screens housing speedo and rev counter instruments.
