Some of our waxes do contain micro-abrasives and other chemical cleaners. These micro-abrasives will help remove fine swirls while you wax but they are not suitable for removing deeper scratches and other surface damage. We often refer to these waxes as “cleaner waxes”. Meguiar’s Cleaner Wax and 3-in-1 Wax are such examples and are a great choice for vehicles in regular use. Think of these waxes as being a hybrid between a polish and a wax.
