The visible impact of fine scratches can be significantly improved with any of Meguiar’s waxes. Wax will penetrate the scratch and fill it in (within limits), thus making it appear much reduced. or even invisible. However this is not a permanent fix and we would recommend a surface preparation step prior to this in order to physically remove the fine scratches permanently. Scratch-X [G10307] or Ultimate Compound [G17216] will achieve this goal quickly and safely. It is total nonsense borne of ignorance that a wax that hides a scratch is a poor quality product. A quality wax will always fill scratches to some degree.

NOTE: If you can catch your fingernail on a scratch, it’s probably too deep to remove completely and we would recommend you see a professional detailer for help.
